You’ve seen the lavish dinner table scenes on Downton Abbey and The Crown – ever wished you could master the rules of the table so you fit in with the Windsors and Crawleys?

Come and join us for a unique hands-on four-course luncheon/dinner tutorial at Park Hyatt Sydney, their executive chef will use the finest seasonal produce to showcase his culinary expertise.

You will learn the amusing and rich history behind the manners that we use today, you will also be mastering the complex techniques of refined dining from taking your seat to properly slicing cheese. Special attention will be given to decoding the nuances of English Vs French dining styles, as well as various do’s and don’ts around the globe.

Topics include: The tools of the table – How to hold cutlery and glasses – Napkin placement – How to eat difficult foods…and more.
